ABOUT ME

I am an information technology and digital media executive specializing in strategic planning, visitor engagement, content development, infrastructure build out, business intelligence and change management.

Currently the Chief Digital Officer of the Royal Ontario Museum, I have worked and consulted for a number of non-profit, corporate and governmental organizations, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Dallas Museum of Art, Accenture, the New York Bar Association, MCI / Worldcom, VA Hospital, El Museo del Barrio and Lehman Brothers. My museum experience includes partnerships with Google, Apple, Microsoft, ArtStor Digital Library, Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) and Digital Public Library of America (DPLA), among others.

I am a frequent presenter at museum and technology conferences, including SXSW, American Alliance of Museums, and Museums and the Web; have consulted with and advised institutions all across the globe; and have led a number of cross-institutional collaborative technology projects. I am a member of the AAM Museum Assessment Program (MAP), and have had the privilege to sit on grant review panels for the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
